Having its target audience on the roads, with our fuel oil brand Opet, we wanted to raise awareness about the risks of dealing with mobile phones whilst driving.
Researches have shown that drivers who are engaged with their mobile phones while driving are 23 times more under the risk of an accident. We wanted to inform drivers with our mobile banner campaign that targets drivers dealing with their phones while on wheels.
Drivers, who turn on their mobile phone cameras or chatting apps like WhatsApp or Messenger while driving and over a certain speed limit, came across our banner of broken front phone glass with crash sound effect.
1.550.051 drivers were reminded of the message “Keep Your Eyes On The Road While Driving “. Opet directly reached its target audience and showed its constant support by their side. The project has won tens of awards in various competitions like Kristal Elma, Kırmızı Awards, Mixx Europe, Mixx Awards and DPID.
